The primary mission of Metro Animal Control is the prevention of rabies.  This program also investigates animal bites and nuisance/dangerous animal complaints, and enforces the Davidson County leash law through the impoundment of dogs running at large.  The program also provides safety training to protect school children and others who may come into contact with potentially vicious dogs and other animals.
Adoption Fees
Dog Adoption Fee $90.00 - includes first shots, deworming, heartworm, spay/neuter and rabies vaccination.
Cat Adoption Fee $60.00 - includes first shots, FELUK, spay/neuter and rabies vaccination.
