Mosquito Control Spraying Zones

Zone 1 - Spraying on Monday Zone 2 - Spraying on Tuesday Zone 3 - Spraying on Wednesday Zone 4 - Spraying on Thursday

We have four designated zones in Davidson County. Zone 1 is an area west of I 65 and north of the Cumberland River. Zone 2 is an area east of I-65 and north of I-40. Zone 3 is east of I-65 and south of I-40. Zone 4 is west of I-65 and south of the Cumberland River.

The health department will only conduct mosquito spraying to address an identified West Nile Virus threat as follows:

Mondays -- Zone 1
Tuesdays – Zone 2
Wednesdays – Zone 3
Thursdays – Zone 4

We will also be more visible when out spraying in neighborhoods by having yellow flashing lights on our Mosquito Control trucks. The yellow flashing lights will continue to flash while the truck is in operation. Our drivers will also sound their horn before starting to spray each street (before 8:30 p.m. only).

Mosquito Control trucks will make every effort not to administer the spray where people or pets are present in the front yard. The health department will not spray on days when it rains or when winds are greater than 10 miles per hour.
